ID11 - Materials Science Beamline

ID11 is a multipurpose beamline concentrating on diffraction experiments in the area of materials science. The beamline offers a high flux at high energies, making it suitable for fast experiments or very small samples.

The first hutch has a heavy duty diffractometer which can host large sample environments such as furnaces, high-pressure cells or cryostats.

The second hutch is optimised for diffraction based X-ray microstructure imaging with micron or sub-micron resolution.
