Italian beamLine for X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy

 

The Italian Collaborating Research Group LISA (Linea Italiana per la Spettroscopia d'Assorbimento x) at the ESRF is a general-purpose beamline using a bending magnet source.

LISA is the continuation of the old GILDA project operational since September 1994. In 2017 a deep refurbishment process has been initiated with a new double-crystal liquid-nitrogen-cooled monochromator and new focusing mirrors.

The beamline is mainly dedicated to the investigation of local structures via X-ray Absorption techniques.
