The MagneDyn beamline has been purposedly designed to carry out studies on transient magnetic states of matter by exploiting the time structure, coherence properties and harmonic content/multi-color operation of the FERMI FEL source.

The beamline endstations allow to perform EUV and soft x-ray resonant inelastic scattering and magnetic absorption experiments.
