BL20 (LOREA)

The BL20 (LOREA), is an advanced ARPES (Angular Resolved PhotoEmission Spectrioscopy beamline equipped with a 2D electron analyser for recording iso-energy ARPES spectra. The beamline has various sample preparation tools, including physical (thermal and e-beam evaporation) and chemical deposition of solids and molecules, plasma oxidation, sputtering, annealing, flashing, cleaving. Sample preparation can be checked with LEED and with Auger spectroscopy. Sample temperature during measurement can be continuously varied between 10K and 400K.
